Queens String Quartet are a small collective of professional musicians. We’ve all qualified from the Royal College of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music, Royal Academy of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
We’ve played together over the last 20 years in larger ensembles. Our varied performing experience has given us the opportunity to tour worldwide. We’ve performed and recorded sessions as individuals with prestigious classical music ensembles, cross-over orchestras, West End shows, and pop stars.
Between us we’ve played in many of the most prestigious music venues of the world: Carnegie Hall, Vienna Musikverein, the Concertgebouw, Royal Opera House, Wigmore Hall, Southbank, Barbican, Glastonbury, Abbey Rd Studios, to name just a few.
Our extensive string quartet repertoire includes classical, light, jazz, pop and klezmer tunes unique to our quartet. We’re happy to play for any occasion or session.
We’re comfortable playing for synagogue, church, or non-religious weddings.
